The author/editor of the content in this web site is Lorraine T. Nott, RT (N), CNMT, a licensed and registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ms. Nott holds an Associates in Science degree in the field of Nuclear Medicine Technology earned in 1980 at South Central Community College (known today as Gateway Community /Technical College). Clinical practicum was served at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and The Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven Connecticut. She has been an employee and Clinical Instructor at Rhode Island Hospital, a teaching and research center, since 1992. Ms. Nott was involved in Beta Testing of the Vantage ExSPECT-2 attenuation correction software with ADAC laboratories in the mid-1990's. Under the direction of Cardiologist Dr. Lynne Johnson, numerous patient, phantom and new drug and radiopharmaceutical research studies were published using imaging data acquired by Ms. Nott.* As Didactic Instructor of Nuclear Cardiology, she was a faculty member of the School of Diagnostic Imaging from 2000 through 2006. Lorraine Nott is a 1980 graduate of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital and earned an Associates in Science degree from South Central Community College (now known as Gateway Community Technical College) in New Haven, CT. This presentation was originally created for use as a free student handbook and is updated yearly. The material has been arranged by the author according to a lesson plan which had been endorsed by the RIH School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
